About Us

Northern Indiana Back Institute, P.C. was founded by Dr. Schneider and Dr. Waggoner with the goal of bringing together 50 years of combined experience to provide our community with the latest and most successful innovation in the non-surgical treatment of low back, mid back, and neck pain- Spinal Decompression Therapy. We have treated many clients with incidents ranging from trauma, over use injuries, or even normal wear and tear which may cause the disc to slowly wear out, degenerate, bulge, or herniate. Fortunately, there is a non-surgical way to get relief, allowing you to get back to the life you’ve been missing! Dr. Terrance Waggoner, D.C.
 


Dr. Waggoner went to undergraduate school at Grace College then proceeded to get his degree in chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He has received a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology and a Doctorate degree as a Chiropractic Physician. Dr. Waggoner has also received certification through continuing education in flexion distraction technique, NCR, cranial care, and decompression therapy.

Dr. Waggoner has a wife, Juli, and six children. He enjoys spending time with his family, bird watching, gardening, cycling, and fishing.

Megan Bailey, RN/BSN
 
Megan was born in Warsaw, Indiana and was raised in Goshen, Indiana where she graduated from Concord High School in 2002. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing in 2005. She was on the National Dean's List from 2002 through 2006 and the Presidential Dean's List from 2002-2006. She was inducted into the Indiana University Honors College in 2002, as well as the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society in 2003. She graduated Cum Lade from Indiana University School of Nursing in 2006.
     

Megan was hired by the Northern Indiana Back Institute in the fall of 2007 and currently works as our Decompression Therapy Nurse and Specialist. Megan has performed over 30,000 decompression treatments in her career at NIBI. Megan's most recent employment was at Memorial Hospital of South Bend as a full time RN in the Intensive Care Unit. Her past employment experiences include, the Emergency Room at Memorial Hospital and at Camp Riley in Martinsville, Indiana. Megan has also obtained her Physical Therapist Aide License.  

Megan is married to Ryan Bailey and has a son Mason who was born in April of 2009. Megan enjoys reading, shopping, exercising, and spending time with friends and family!

Naomi Staley, RN/BSN
 

Naomi was born and raised in Maui, Hawaii where she graduated from Maui High School in 2002 as the Class Valedictorian. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, California. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2005. She was on the national Dean's list in 2006 and the Presidential Dean's List from 2002-2006. Naomi was the recipient of many scholarships.

Prior to working at the Northern Indiana Back Institute, Naomi worked at Elkhart General Hospital as a full time RN in Obstetrics. Her past experience includes student nursing at the Arcadia Methodist Hospital in the Maternal Health Care during her schooling.  Naomi has also obtained an x-ray license and her Physical Therapist Aide License.  

     
Naomi is married to Micah Staley who is from the Elkhart/Goshen area, graduating from Concord High School. The two met in college in California. Naomi enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, anything to do with the ocean, and spending time with her beloved puppy Stewy!

Juli Waggoner, RN
 

Juli received a Medical Assistant's degree from Michiana College and worked at Bristol Street pediatrics for twelve years. She then went on to get her nursing degree from Ivy Tech and worked at Elkhart General Hospital in pediatrics and labor & delivery. She also received special training in decompression therapy. She is currently working part time for CCWC and NIBI as a decompression specialist.


Her main focus is on raising her family. She is kept busy raising Dr. Waggoner and her newly adopted daughter, Anna. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, cycling, arts & crafts, gardening, traveling, and shopping.

Chris Stidham, RT
 
Chris received an associates degree in Radiologic Technologies at the University of Saint Francis. She is a registered X-ray technologist and CT technologist. She also has training as a decompression specialist. She has been with Dr. Waggoner since 2007 doing X-rays, decompression, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing medicaid/medicare.

She has a husband, Terry, and two children Austin and Taylor. Besides being busy raising her two children, Chris enjoys reading, running, making jewelry, and softball.
